This student project involved creating a 24-page A4 annual report for Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, combining 4,500–5,000 words of content on environment, horticulture, science, and education. The challenge was to transform extensive information into an engaging and easy-to-navigate publication for investors and stakeholders. The solution involved developing the creative direction and overall concept, designing dynamic layouts, and incorporating original photography taken on location at the Gold Coast Botanic Gardens. Data visualisations, typography, and graphic elements were used to tell a cohesive story, making the content approachable and inspiring. This project strengthened skills in editorial design, concept development, and storytelling through imagery and layout.
